Sunday, Jan.11th we host our first listening set of 2026 at the marvelous and curated Pagna Bakery in seaside Trieste (Italy), starring Taiwanese soundscaper Zelζ.

Mackerel is a coastal affair. Entangled nets leave no room for jazzy fish, and steel skies reflect the mood of a century at sea. Tides come and go with the Moon as electric shockwaves deepen the curls. A thousand miles down, in a trench, an underwater percussion sets the tone for an orchestral ride.

Horto, in the cradle city, far from might, leaning into an affresco-laden heritage. Scents of vetiver flood the courtyard, tigers strolling by an off-grid shower, carriages of pumpkin at midnight, bluegrass in ancient maiolicas, an ambient circle of kin.

Åkande is a cold wind blowing in from the North, a sea at rest in the blooming terror of a foreign sound, yet also a gentle breeze hovering over endless bodies of water, caressing water lilies populated by a royal flora and fauna. It is hope and resilience facing each other in a peaceful sonnet...

Fôk è levante e ponente nella malinconia di una cultura estinta. È silenzio orchestrale, bacche rosse su fiamme aperte, bocche provenzali e tabacco nella masticazione a ritmo di folk lontano.
