Visualize a fleet heading towards an uninhabited beach protected by raw cliffs and a deep sea. A year later, the same beach is now home to a group of cultured ones who built a Native-American fort out of wood. This new home of theirs is named The Settlement™, a place where they live peacefully, interact with sound, and maintain a social structure.

The Settlement™ is an international ethnomusicological arsenal of Artists and Curators committed to directing meticulous sonic experiences in ethos-driven locations, with a focus on Folklore or Indigenous cultures, through various creative mediums. The Settlement™ operates within the culinary and design markets, showcasing unique technicality, skill, and taste for the Seven Arts. 

Ethnomusicology is the multidisciplinary study of music and sound in their cultural context. The discipline investigates social, cognitive, biological, comparative, and other dimensions. Ethnomusicologists study music as a reflection of culture and investigate the act of music-making through various immersive, observational, and analytical approaches.

The Settlement™ is a portmanteau of distinct sonic trajectories that are convened and allowed to intersect in unexpected ways. It is grounded in the belief that when artists with differing methodologies engage in sustained, close collaboration, new and often unforeseen directions begin to surface. Anthropological study plays a central role, illuminating the intertwining of cultural and sonic pathways and situating each outcome within a broader awareness of lineage, context, and tradition. Attentive listening and disciplined focus operate alongside instinct and chemistry, shaping a process that is at once intentional and open-ended.

Naked music refers to music that is stripped of commercial embellishments, digital excess, and superficial trends, revealing only its raw, emotional, and essential form. It's unfiltered expression, honest and soul-bearing, where every note, voice, and rhythm serves purpose rather than profit.
